Job Requirements

  • at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
  • active food handler's certification or willingness to get certified
  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work independently
  • physical ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • possess an energetic personality
  • have a strong desire to exceed expectations

Job Duties

  • develop various cooking procedures and methods such as grill, saute, and fry
  • use knives and various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • follow and recreate recipes consistently
  • maintain consistent food preparation standards
  • minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • collaborate with culinary team to create workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepare ingredients including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
  • maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • ensure proper storage of all food and supplies
  • be responsible for the quality of ingredients
