Job Requirements

  • minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • valid State Food Handler's License
  • ability to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures
  • capability to manage banquet cooking for up to 100 guests with small team assistance
  • ability to read, comprehend, and communicate instructions
  • working knowledge of sauces and butchering
  • experience with specialized kitchen equipment
  • excellent knife skills
  • ability to adjust food preparations promptly
  • willingness to work opening and closing kitchen shifts

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • ability to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures
  • ability to cook and direct a banquet of up to 100 guests with a small team
  • possession of State Food Handler's License
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and present information effectively
  • working knowledge of all mother and minor sauces
  • working knowledge of proper butchering techniques
  • knowledge of specialized kitchen equipment including slicer, Robo-coup, Hobart, and convection ovens
  • proficient knife skills
  • ability to adjust preparations for flavor and accommodate customer needs timely

Job Duties

  • prepare new menu items and daily preparation requirements
  • provide guidance to line cooks
  • conduct inventories
  • ensure sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas
  • ensure safe food handling
  • open and close kitchen procedures
  • accommodate customer needs in a timely manner
