Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- one to two years of employment in a related position
- knowledge of cooking and kitchen procedures
- ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
- ability to stand continuously during shifts
- physical capability to bend knees and climb periodically
- full mobility to travel 30-50 feet regularly
- ability to hear and respond to equipment timers
- ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- one to two years of experience in a related culinary position
- knowledge of cooking practices and kitchen procedures
- ability to perform non-repetitive analytical work

Job Duties
- Check all items against the recipe cards
- verify that use records are followed for all items served
- ensure food is presented in an efficient and quality manner
- monitor line setup prior to meal functions
- ensure equipment maintenance and adherence to kitchen clean as you go policy
- prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and portion standards
- initiate preparation of ahead-of-time food items without overproduction
- date and rotate all food containers per SOP
- maintain food at proper temperatures
- check inventory pars for shift use
- identify out-of-stock items or shortages
- assist in buffet stocking
- properly store unused food items with correct labeling and dating
- assist in managing food cost problems and control food waste and loss
