Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in banquet cooking or food preparation
  • knowledge of and adherence to food safety standards
  • ability to follow recipes precisely
  • excellent organizational skills
  • strong work ethic and reliability
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a banquet cook or similar culinary role
  • strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • proficiency in managing food costs and minimizing waste

Job Duties

  • Produce all food for banquets
  • account for all food costs and oversee daily production
  • adhere to standard operating procedures for banquet kitchen
  • observe club safety rules and guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • prepare food to proper doneness and season correctly
  • assist with preparation of other food products on serving line
  • manage food production throughout banquet function
  • establish and maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance
  • communicate daily with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
  • attend monthly kitchen meetings
  • manage food labeling, dating, and storage in coolers
  • taste all food produced for banquet functions
