Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently
- Flexible availability for evening shifts
- Willingness to work variable hours based on occupancy and staffing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation or ability to commute
- Legal authorization to work as verified by E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Effective problem-solving skills including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving workplace issues
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on approachability and availability
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and rearranging the room after guests check out
- Ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and IHM standards
- Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily housekeeping goals
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards during cleaning tasks
- Provide excellent guest service by being readily available and approachable
