Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous supervisory experience in food and beverage service
- knowledge of beverage cost control
- availability to work 3 pm to close shifts including weekends and holidays
- excellent communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to assist in other hotel operations as needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role within full service restaurants
- knowledge of beverage cost and sequence of service
- hands-on attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Micros POS system experience a plus
- ability to train and develop team members
- strong problem-solving skills
- good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Completely direct the operational efforts and strategies of the lobby lounge outlet
- supervises lobby lounge team members
- trains all associates in the outlet on how to perform their job duties to the best of their abilities
- assist in writing schedules, evaluating associates, and direction of all personnel
- keep open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- write and present disciplinary action as needed
- provide associates with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs
- take immediate action on problems encountered in the outlet
- participate in weekly staff meetings, weekly BEO meetings with sales, weekly food and beverage meetings, monthly restaurant inventory
- ensure all food and beverages are served of high quality, properly prepared according to recipe and expedited smoothly
- help in all areas of food service and as needed in other areas of hotel operation
