Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • exposure to soap, cleaning solutions and steam
  • authorized to work in the U.S.
  • ability to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • willingness to work Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment
  • no weekends

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • sense of urgency and ability to move safely throughout the dish pit and kitchen
  • ability to follow all company policies including attendance, safety and sanitation
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner
  • wash and dry dishes, glassware, flatware and pots and pans by machine or hand
  • load and unload the dish washing machine frequently throughout the day
  • maintain clean work areas and equipment
  • sweep and scrub floors
  • place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas
  • prepare and package individual place settings
  • sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving
  • stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and sanitation procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
