Job Duties
- Load, run and unload dishwashing machine ensuring sanitation standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pots, pans and trays needing hand washing
- sort and rinse dirty dishes and utensils
- stack and organize clean and dry dishes
- transport clean dishes to appropriate storage or cook's line
- change dishwater hourly
- sort and remove trash to designated areas
- fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions
- sweep, scrub and mop kitchen floors
- maintain overall cleanliness of dish pit
- notify management of machine temperature or functionality issues
- clean garbage cans
- adhere to handwashing and sanitation protocols
- monitor and report any mechanical problems
- clean walls and prepare various foods for serving
- seek opportunities to enhance customer experience
- follow safety and health regulations as per OSHA and local authorities
- perform other duties as assigned
