Job Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe) and comply with local food handler requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Load, run and unload dishwashing machine ensuring sanitation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pots, pans and trays needing hand washing
  • sort and rinse dirty dishes and utensils
  • stack and organize clean and dry dishes
  • transport clean dishes to appropriate storage or cook's line
  • change dishwater hourly
  • sort and remove trash to designated areas
  • fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions
  • sweep, scrub and mop kitchen floors
  • maintain overall cleanliness of dish pit
  • notify management of machine temperature or functionality issues
  • clean garbage cans
  • adhere to handwashing and sanitation protocols
  • monitor and report any mechanical problems
  • clean walls and prepare various foods for serving
  • seek opportunities to enhance customer experience
  • follow safety and health regulations as per OSHA and local authorities
  • perform other duties as assigned
