Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work safely with exposure to soap, cleaning solutions and steam
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to follow all company policies in areas of attendance, safety and sanitation
  • Sense of urgency and ability to move throughout the dish pit and kitchen in a safe manner

Job Duties

  • Provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner
  • Accommodate all requests and special needs for guests and clients
  • Wash and dry dishes, glassware, flatware and pots and pans by machine or hand
  • Load and unload the dish washing machine frequently throughout the day
  • Maintain clean work areas and equipment
  • Sweep and scrub floors
  • Place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Prepare and package individual place settings
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving
  • Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures within set guidelines from OSHA, HACCP and Department of Public Health and Risk Management
  • Ensure your team is following guidelines as well
  • Perform other duties as assigned
