Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work safely with exposure to soap, cleaning solutions and steam
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow all company policies in areas of attendance, safety and sanitation
- Sense of urgency and ability to move throughout the dish pit and kitchen in a safe manner
Job Duties
- Provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner
- Accommodate all requests and special needs for guests and clients
- Wash and dry dishes, glassware, flatware and pots and pans by machine or hand
- Load and unload the dish washing machine frequently throughout the day
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Prepare and package individual place settings
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving
- Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures within set guidelines from OSHA, HACCP and Department of Public Health and Risk Management
- Ensure your team is following guidelines as well
- Perform other duties as assigned
