Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Valid State Food Handler's License
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Proficient in cooking and food handling safety
- Skilled in knife techniques and culinary preparations
- Capable of managing opening and closing procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Ability to cook proteins to predetermined temperatures
- Possession of necessary State Food Handler's License(s)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Working knowledge of all mother and minor sauces
- Knowledge of proper butchering techniques
- Experience with specialized kitchen equipment such as slicer, Robo-coupe, Hobart, and convection ovens
- Strong knife skills and ability to adjust preparations for flavor and customer preferences
Job Duties
- Prepare new menu items and daily kitchen preparations
- Provide guidance and support to line cooks
- Conduct inventory checks regularly
- Ensure sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas
- Follow safe food handling practices
- Execute opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Accommodate customer dietary needs and special requests in a timely manner
