Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior kitchen or cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of WISHA and Spokane County Health regulations
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a sense of humor
  • Passion for working with elderly adults

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast and lunch meals according to menu standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations
  • Collaborate with culinary team members to deliver high-quality dining experiences
  • Educate residents and staff on healthy food options
  • Manage food inventory and minimize waste
