Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid food handler’s certification preferred
- ability to work lunch and dinner shifts thursday through monday with evening meal service ending at 6:30 pm
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- willingness to embrace and demonstrate company core values
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years of age
- have an eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
- have experience working in a team environment ideally in a culinary setting
- have the knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food
- be knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines and be able to operate kitchen equipment as needed
Job Duties
- prepare and serve dynamic entrees under the mentorship of the executive chef
- present high-quality food that is appetizing and personalized to residents’ preferences
- witness the happiness your cooking brings to residents and their guests
- ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen
- live by the core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
