  • ability to work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and split shifts
  • frequent hand washing
  • ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
  • ability to manually manipulate and be vertically mobile in limited spaces

Job Qualifications

  • basic understanding of food allergies and cross-contamination issues
  • ability to follow verbal directions and understand written menus and safety signage
  • ability to work under pressure during busy periods

Job Duties

  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance with a properly cleaned uniform
  • greet guests warmly and speak with enthusiasm at all times
  • be prepared to answer basic questions about menu items and food preparation
  • correctly deliver food and beverage to tables efficiently following proper service techniques
  • clear tables in an efficient manner once guests have finished meals using appropriate service methods
  • safely operate basic restaurant equipment including coffee makers, refrigeration, and toasters
  • handle and communicate guest requests and complaints professionally knowing who to contact for issues
  • complete side work such as resetting tables, stocking supplies and cleaning
  • participate in banquet event setup, execution and cleanup as directed
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards as required by health regulations
  • report broken equipment or unsafe conditions
  • manually handle, lift or carry products up to 60 pounds
  • work in limited space for entire shift and protect company assets
