Job Requirements

  • Two years previous experience providing customer service preferably in a similar setting
  • Working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and food service
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekday evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Friendly and energetic demeanor
  • Food handlers certification
  • State specific alcohol certification and/or TIPs certification
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Embrace service with a story through creating and serving both distinctive and traditional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
  • Share your personal passions and knowledge of the food, services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at home
  • Orchestrate an extraordinary guest experience by providing a fun and positive environment
  • Be an advocate of our menu offering, receive food orders at the bar, and ensure accuracy before guest delivery
  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks
  • Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
  • Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet
  • Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys
  • Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank
  • Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor
  • Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules
  • All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
