Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel environment
  • TABC Certification
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate cash registers and computer systems
  • Physically able to lift 20-40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to use tact in stressful customer service situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • TABC Certification
  • Food Handler Certification
  • 1+ years bartending experience in luxury hotel environment
  • Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude
  • Must know standard cash handling procedures and knowledge of computerized cash register systems
  • Must have experience in dealing directly with the public and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills
  • Must be fluent in oral and written English
  • Must be able to operate computer, calculator, and telephone keyboards for cash handling and paperwork processing
  • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems including stressful and highly emotional situations
  • Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details particularly when performing multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
  • Take and deliver food orders to guests
  • Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
  • Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures
  • Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
  • Know and comply with state liquor laws
  • Ensure established pars are maintained
  • Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by leadership
