Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel environment
- TABC Certification
- Food Handler Certification
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Ability to operate cash registers and computer systems
- Physically able to lift 20-40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and maneuver in tight spaces
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to use tact in stressful customer service situations
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- TABC Certification
- Food Handler Certification
- 1+ years bartending experience in luxury hotel environment
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude
- Must know standard cash handling procedures and knowledge of computerized cash register systems
- Must have experience in dealing directly with the public and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills
- Must be fluent in oral and written English
- Must be able to operate computer, calculator, and telephone keyboards for cash handling and paperwork processing
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems including stressful and highly emotional situations
- Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details particularly when performing multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
- Take and deliver food orders to guests
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
- Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures
- Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
- Know and comply with state liquor laws
- Ensure established pars are maintained
- Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules
- Perform all other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by leadership
