Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • TIPS certification
  • Food safety certification
  • Minimum two years of experience in banquet, catering, or food services
  • Ability to work evening shifts from 2 PM to 11 PM or as needed
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • TIPS certification
  • Food safety certification
  • Strong leadership and team management skills in event or food service settings
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and resolve issues under pressure
  • Financial awareness and accuracy in handling banquet billing
  • Familiarity with Delphi, Oracle Symphony, or Micros systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Review banquet event orders and requisition additional staff or resources as needed
  • Direct staff and assist in setting up banquet rooms, arranging tables, seating, and decor
  • Monitor and ensure banquet checks are accurate, maintaining financial accountability
  • Create and implement structured service plans for course execution
  • Lead, train, and supervise wait staff and setup teams
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service
  • Support daily banquet operations and contribute to setup and service
  • Oversee proper handling, storage, and tracking of banquet equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, emergency procedures, and sustainability practices
  • Serve as acting Banquet Manager in their absence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
