Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • At least three years experience as a journeyman plumber performing service and maintenance work
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces and handle lifting heavy equipment
  • Ability to pass annual physical and respirator fit test
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program accredited by plumbing associations or trade unions (preferred)
  • A valid plumbing license (preferred)
  • Three years experience as a journeyman plumber working within the trade performing service and maintenance related work
  • Detailed understanding of plumbing codes and standards
  • Experience with planning and execution of complex plumbing projects
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel
  • Ability to respond to emergency call-ins when required
  • Must pass annual "Fit for Duty" physical and meet all medical requirements to wear respirators and perform job duties
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

Job Duties

  • Perform daily operational checks of all mechanical/plumbing and specialty systems and equipment in all buildings outlined within the SOW
  • Respond to all mechanical equipment and systems related troubles and alarms
  • Complete all preventative and corrective maintenance related work orders in a timely manner
  • Install and maintain a variety of mechanical and piping components including drinking fountains, ice machines, compressors, pumps, and specialty piping systems
  • Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and federal legal regulations
  • Conduct inspections and system testing to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance
  • Provide expert advice on modern plumbing technologies and sustainable practices
