Job Requirements
- Project management of PLL Play events including camps, tournaments, clinics, and showcases
- Ability to scope, build and execute full event lifecycles
- Skilled in using project management platforms with regular stakeholder communication
- Ability to travel regularly to operate events on-site
- Ability to operate independently, in teams, and with partners
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Implementation of superior event operational delivery
- Effective collection and analysis of feedback to improve processes
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external communication
- Manage time- and cost-sensitive priorities within PLL Play guidelines
- Ensure financial accountability for events
- Cross-functional collaboration to improve business unit performance
- Manage professional development of direct reports
- Willingness and ability to perform additional duties as assigned
- Regular travel with shared accommodations
- Able to work out-of-hours during events
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Valid drivers license

- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Knowledge of project management software
- Experience with event budgeting and P&L management.
Job Qualifications
- 4-5 years experience in sports event operations
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software
- Ability to manage event P&L with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities for operational issues
- Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders through collaborative communication
- Experience operating high caliber events on-site
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of youth sports landscape with lacrosse experience considered a bonus.
Job Duties
- Project manage key PLL Play events including camps, tournaments, clinics, showcases across multiple genders and age groups including youth and adult events
- Scope, build and execute the lifecycle of programs from inception to delivery covering event planning, scheduling, logistics, staffing, budgeting, merchandise, venue management/contracts, vendor management, sponsorship activation, hotel partners, stakeholder relationships, and post-event reconciliation
- Execute program timelines and objectives utilizing project management tools and communicate regular updates to stakeholders
- Travel regularly to deliver events on-site and implement operational, event management, and emergency plans
- Operate both independently and collaboratively within teams and with external partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, stakeholders, service providers, vendors and customers representing PLL at the highest level
- Enhance the value of PLL Play programming through superior operational delivery
- Collect, analyze and implement feedback for continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Maintain highly responsive, professional, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Prioritize and manage time- and cost-sensitive items including venue deadlines, accounts payable, insurance, travel, lodging, logistics within PLL Play guidelines
- Ensure on-time and on-budget accountability for event expenses
- Work cross-functionally to maximize business unit effectiveness
- Manage the career and professional development of direct reports as applicable
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
