Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months to one year of customer service experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • General cashiering or prior money handling experience required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift
  • Must be able to obtain Louisiana gaming license
  • Excels both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment

Job Duties

  • Handle financial transactions including credit checks, release jackpot payments, exchange cash for casino tokens, and cash checks
  • Determine customer qualifications for PennPlay membership and manage player accounts including opening new accounts, issuing replacement cards, and merging duplicates
  • Account for all transactions and balance books to ensure accuracy of casino revenue
  • Provide exceptional guest service by addressing guest questions and concerns
  • Ensure cash drawer is balanced at all times and make vault exchanges when necessary
  • Communicate benefits of Players Club membership to guests
  • Maintain knowledge of promotions and events and assist guests with redeeming offers
  • Operate point of sale register handling cash and credit cards for entertainment ticket sales
  • Participate in casino and property-wide events
