Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food and beverage serving experience preferred
  • Ability to use POS systems proficiently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting company values
  • Perform responsibilities according to company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings to confidently explain the menu
  • Follow the steps of service consistently
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders including recommendations for gourmet bites and beverage pairings
  • Use POS system proficiently
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly with correct orders and presentation
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area including dining room and service stations
  • Anticipate guest needs and address concerns timely
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff for smooth service
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down dining area as assigned
