Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 32 pounds, rarely up to 50 pounds
- Fine motor coordination and depth perception
- Ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
- Minimum one year customer or patient-facing experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work part-time hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for record management
- Ability to identify operational improvements
Job Duties
- Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
- Assist donors with appointments
- Create or pull donor record files
- Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
- Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
- Report to center management team on operational opportunities for continuous improvement
- Initiate changes to center processes through company approved procedures
