Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 32 pounds, rarely up to 50 pounds
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • Minimum one year customer or patient-facing experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work part-time hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer literacy for record management
  • Ability to identify operational improvements

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments
  • Create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
  • Report to center management team on operational opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Initiate changes to center processes through company approved procedures
