Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs, and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
- Current active license or certification as Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), Certified Phlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned such as Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), Certified Phlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
Job Duties
- Answer phones and greet all visitors to the facility promptly exhibiting customer service skills
- Assist donors with appointments and create or pull donor record files
- Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
- Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
- Report to the center management team identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiating changes through approved procedures
