Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Associates degree or equivalent in relevant education, training and experience
- Maintenance supervisor experience preferred
- Ability to supervise and manage a small team
- Knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance
- Familiarity with safety and fire codes
- Strong budgeting and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Supervise the Plant Operations Department including interviewing, hiring with Executive Director approval, training, evaluating, and counseling staff
- Maintain equipment, building, utilities and grounds with a preventative maintenance program and arrange for maintenance contracts
- Maintain emergency power generating equipment, fire and life safety equipment, and safety inspection reports
- Provide timely and effective response to service requests from residents and staff
- Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and comply with regulations
- Advise Executive Director on planning for physical plant maintenance and community appearance
- Participate in budget planning and manage departmental expenditures within budget
