Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, or finance and 7+ years of food manufacturing experience including managerial roles
- OR associate's degree with 10+ years of food manufacturing experience including managerial roles
- Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing with a background in quality, accounting, engineering, or production
- Strong communication, team-building, and decision-making skills
- ability to solve complex problems using data
- Working knowledge of process equipment, GMPs, EHSS, and regulatory compliance in a food environment
- Budgeting experience and general P&L acumen
- basic accounting knowledge and solid analytical/mathematics skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing applications
- Physical ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs
- stand, walk, or climb for extended periods
- use a computer more than 25 percent of work time
- occasional travel

Job Duties
- Lead bakery operations and P&L to meet budget, schedule, service, and performance targets across safety, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory
- Champion safety, GMP, EHSS, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the bakery is inspection-ready and aligned with local, state, and federal requirements
- Own production planning and materials/warehouse control (including FEFO) to meet demand, minimize waste, and optimize throughput
- Drive continuous improvement (e.g., TPM/lean) and loss elimination, reducing downtime and elevating process capability and efficiency
- Oversee quality systems and customer commitments, including audit readiness, CAPA execution, complaint resolution, and adherence to product specs
- Lead capital planning and engineering projects with Corporate Engineering to deliver on-time, on-budget investments that improve safety, quality, and capacity
- Develop, coach, and engage teams (including union relations), building bench strength, retention, and a high-performance culture
