Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of experience in custodial or cleaning services
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects for long periods
Knowledge of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, and sanitizing various surfaces especially restrooms
Skill in using and maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, floor buffer, and carpet cleaner
Ability to move safely about the building
Use required protective equipment including ANSI Z87.1-2003 standard safety glasses while in the plant

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of experience in custodial or cleaning services
Attention to detail

Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented facility environment
Verbal communication skills
Intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel skills

Job Duties

Manage time efficiently and organize tasks to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
Report issues and coordinate with others using verbal communication skills
Work independently and follow instructions
Gather, empty, and dispose of trash following proper procedures
Comply with OSHA requirements including hazard communication, bloodborne pathogens, PPE, electrical safety, slip, trip, and fall prevention, ergonomics, respiratory protection, lockout/tagout, and training and recordkeeping
Manage company resources responsibly
Use and maintain cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaner, floor buffer, and carpet cleaner
