Job Requirements

Minimum age 21
Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics preferred
At least 2 years of experience related to food preparation, cooking, or sales
Completion or ability to complete wine selling and TABC certifications
Ability to stand, reach, and grasp continuously
Ability to occasionally sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders
Ability to lift and manage loads up to 60 lbs safely
Strong communication and customer service skills
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of related experience in food preparation or sales
Strong customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, roasting, and frying
Ability to operate point-of-sale and inventory systems
Experience with product demonstrations and culinary presentations
Ability to complete H-E-B Wine Selling Certification and TABC Certification

Job Duties

Perform selling activation events in the Cooking Connection kitchen
Assist in recipe development tailored to the local customer base
Engage customers with culinary knowledge and beverage recommendations
Conduct cooking demonstrations and food preparation
Provide expert advice on menu and meal planning
Maintain cookbook and merchandising displays to A+ standards
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
