Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- Must be able to conform to physical demands including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and other physical activities as specified

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited four-year college or university
- MBA preferred
- At least three years casino experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and make formal presentations to executives
- Broad knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
- Experience with computer report writing software highly desirable
- Advanced excel spreadsheet skills
- Financial modeling experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Cognos, SQL, CRM, CDS, ACES and related systems
Job Duties
- Supervising and managing staff in the Planning & Analysis department
- Developing, implementing and managing operational goals
- Monitoring achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Conducting short and long term financial analysis including labor and financial data reporting
- Creating effective and efficient schedules to maintain labor costs and meet staffing objectives
- Assisting in budget processes and making recommendations
- Calculating profitability of marketing programs and analyzing efficiency
- Preparing and overseeing the annual budget
- Comparing actual operating results to budget and prior year and summarizing key findings
- Developing presentations for budget meetings and operational reviews
- Communicating findings to executive management
- Maintaining and distributing key operating metrics
- Monitoring labor costs and identifying efficiency improvements
- Performing database queries to extract data for analysis
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis
- Ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Promoting and supporting superior customer service
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting potential issues
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Managing staff development, training, rewards, and recognition programs
- Evaluating team members and providing constructive feedback
- Recommending staffing and scheduling
- Planning and directing work workflows
- Managing employee performance including coaching and counseling
