Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Five or more years of experience in purchasing or scheduling
- Functional knowledge of material requirements planning, capacity planning, and purchasing
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Ability to travel up to 5 percent
- No relocation eligibility
- Ability to work primarily in an office environment with limited time in manufacturing facilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain, or related technical field preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in purchasing or scheduling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of material requirements planning, capacity planning, and purchasing
Job Duties
- Plan and schedule slitting equipment to maintain consistent work schedules based on manufacturing capacity and business needs
- Develop centralized network plans to optimize converting sequences, waste reduction, and capacity utilization
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Inventory Planners, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to establish priorities and replenishment timing
- Update scheduling systems and software tools to manage shop orders and customer orders effectively
- Monitor production timelines and communicate delays through exception resolutions
- Coordinate with Corporate Inventory Planners to review finished goods replenishment and scheduling
- Manage advanced purchasing activities including purchase orders, price updates, and vendor communications
