Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • passion for fitness and health
  • one to three years of management experience preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn systems quickly
  • strong leadership, team building and coaching skills
  • direct experience managing customer-focused teams in fitness or similar industry
  • exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • enthusiastic and energetic management style
  • organizational, problem solving and planning skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • own reliable means of transportation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff
  • create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
  • schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
  • provide exceptional customer service and lead by example
  • administer employee payroll and resolve employee issues
  • oversee cleanliness and safety of facility
  • manage marketing efforts and handle financial transactions
  • track statistics and prepare reports
  • provide backup support for absent employees
  • perform other duties as assigned based on club needs
