Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- one to three years of management experience preferred
- computer proficiency including Microsoft Suite
- strong leadership and team building skills
- direct experience managing customer-focused teams in fitness or similar industry
- exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- enthusiastic and energetic management style
- strong organization, problem solving and planning skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff
- create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
- schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
- lead by example and maintain consistent accountability for direct reports
- administer and process employee payroll
- resolve employee issues
- manage progressive discipline and termination
- greet members and guests with exceptional customer service
- answer phones and assist callers
- check members into the system, tour and sign up new members
- facilitate member requests and resolve issues
- oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
- participate in regular facility cleaning
- ensure safety by identifying repair needs
- manage marketing efforts and staff training on promotions
- authorize expenditures and refunds
- make daily bank deposits
- prepare HR forms and send to corporate HR
- track statistics and reports
- provide backup support for absent employees
- perform other duties as assigned
