Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three years of management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and quick learner of systems
  • Strong leadership team building and coaching skills
  • Experience managing customer focused teams in fitness or similar industry
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Hardworking enthusiastic and energetic management style
  • Organizational problem solving and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Own reliable means of transportation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruit hire train and develop a high performing staff
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere ensuring superior customer service
  • Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
  • Lead by example and maintain accountability through training and coaching
  • Administer and process employee payroll
  • Resolve employee issues and manage discipline and termination
  • Lead front desk activities including member greeting and issue resolution
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
  • Manage marketing efforts and staff training on promotions
  • Authorize expenditures and refunds
  • Make daily bank deposits
  • Prepare HR forms for corporate HR and payroll
  • Track club statistics and reports
  • Provide backup support for absent employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
