Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- have 1 to 3 years management experience preferred
- demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- exhibit leadership and team building skills
- have customer service experience in fitness or similar industry
- provide conflict resolution capabilities
- show energetic and hardworking management style
- possess organization, problem solving and planning skills
- able to work independently and collaboratively
- hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a reliable transportation method
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- passion for fitness and health
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a management role preferred
- computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- strong leadership and team building skills
- direct experience managing customer-focused teams in fitness or similar industry
- exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- enthusiastic and energetic management style
- strong organization, problem solving and planning skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- reliable means of transportation
Job Duties
- Recruit, hire, train and develop staff consisting of assistant managers, member service representatives, trainers and custodians
- create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
- schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
- ensure staff provides exceptional customer service
- lead by example, providing training and coaching
- administer and process employee payroll
- resolve employee issues and manage discipline and termination
- participate in front desk activities including greeting members and guests, answering phones, checking members in, touring and signing up new members
- oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
- manage marketing efforts and ensure staff is trained on promotions
- authorize expenditures and refunds and make daily bank deposits
- prepare HR forms and send to corporate HR and payroll teams
- track club statistics and reports
- provide backup for absent employees
- perform other duties as assigned based on club needs
