Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three years of management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience managing customer-focused teams
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Recruit, hire, train and develop staff
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
  • Schedule staff and ensure shift coverage
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Lead by example and maintain accountability through coaching and training
  • Administer payroll and resolve employee issues
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility
  • Manage marketing efforts and authorize expenditures
  • Prepare HR forms and submit to corporate HR
  • Track and report club statistics
  • Provide backup support for absent employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
