Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of management experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and quick to learn systems
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Experience leading customer facing teams in fitness or related field
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Energetic and hardworking management approach
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must have valid driver’s license acceptable driving record and reliable means of transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of experience in a management role preferred
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Suite
- Strong leadership team building and coaching skills
- Experience managing customer focused teams preferably in the fitness or similar industry
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Hard working enthusiastic and energetic management style
- Organizational problem solving and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Recruit hire and train a high performing staff including assistant managers member service representatives trainers and custodians
- Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere ensuring superior customer service
- Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered
- Lead by example with direct involvement in front desk activities including greeting members assisting callers and facilitating memberships
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility including safety checks and communication with maintenance team
- Manage marketing efforts and ensure staff training on promotions
- Authorize expenditures prepare payroll process HR forms and track club performance
- Provide backup support for absent employees and perform other duties as assigned
