Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21
- Current valid state-issued driver’s license
- Preferably live within 20-25 minutes of the location
- On-call availability with flexible scheduling
- Less than two moving violations in the last three years
- No reckless or careless driving violations in the last five years
- No DUI convictions in the last seven years
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions in the last four years
- No auto theft convictions in the last seven years
- Successful completion of background checks including eRailsafe
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle
- Ability to hear, read, and respond to instructions in English
- Must submit to and pass drug and alcohol testing
Job Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Clean driving record with minimal violations
- Ability to use electronic communication and documentation tools
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Professional temperament and a positive attitude
- Ability to navigate safely in high-traffic areas
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Job Duties
- Transport railroad crews to designated locations safely and on time
- Maintain a clean and well-inspected vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and crew members
- Complete required trip and shift documentation using electronic devices
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist crews with boarding and disembarking the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the transportation process
