Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years related experience and/or training
- Assists with scheduling of place/finish crews
- Assists superintendent with scheduling of manpower
- Maintains manpower schedule board
- Acts as timekeeper for place/finish crews
- Tracks and reports quantities of place/finish crews
- Tracks mix design and submittals for place/finish operation
- Able to work flexible hours (early starts or late endings) during concrete pours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques
- Ability to coordinate scheduling of place/finish crews
- Familiarity with mix designs and submittals for concrete operations
- Strong organizational and timekeeping skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during concrete pours
Job Duties
- Decides on proper equipment needed to obtain required finish
- Remains knowledgeable of all hardeners, toppings, and concrete mixes
- Reviews pump location and layout
- Establishes how grades are to be achieved
- Coordinate large pours
- Attends weekly meeting (sub or foreman's)
- Participate in the execution of concrete placement
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in training/certification
