- Commitment to maintaining consistency and quality in pizza preparation, baking, and presentation
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station and ovens strictly
- Ability to assist in the setup and breakdown of the pizza preparation and baking stations
- Monitor pizza ingredients inventory levels and report shortages promptly to the Assistant Kitchen Manager
- Conduct regular checks to ensure proper stock and quality of pizza ingredients
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, especially in dough handling and oven operation
- Implement kitchen safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of pizza ovens and related equipment
- Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Ability to assist in training new kitchen staff members
- Effective communication skills with team members and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Basic knowledge of pizza preparation techniques including dough handling, topping assembly, and oven operation
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Familiarity with pizza ovens, dough mixers, and pizza preparation tools
