Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of line cook experience
- current San Diego County Food Handler's Card
- ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- capacity for prolonged standing and repetitive motions
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- experience working in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of line cook experience in a restaurant
- previous pizza or wood-fired oven experience preferred
- strong knowledge of pizza dough handling and oven techniques
- familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- current San Diego County Food Handler's Card
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- detail-focused and dependable
- able to maintain composure under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepare and finish pizzas following established recipes and quality standards
- safely and efficiently operate the pizza oven while handling dough and toppings
- monitor cooking times and temperatures closely
- cook, fry, mix, and plate additional menu items as required
- maintain consistent presentation and portion control
- keep workstation clean and organized adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively with kitchen team members and support prep, stocking, and cleaning duties during high-volume service
