Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- standing for extended periods
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- attention to detail
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- understands all Portion Control Charts including full and add portions
- makes all specialty pizzas correctly
- uses scales for all portioning
- knows all product abbreviations and can read guest checks and/or POS monitors
- follows Buffet Rotation Chart
- follows correct baking procedures
- produces consistent products
- knows and prepares all specialty items
- knows shelf life of products and/or where to locate
- understands FIFO flip fill and restocking products
- preps and labels items correctly
- can explain importance of minimizing waste and food cost
- completes side work duties
- opens and closes station correctly
Job Duties
- have a neat clean appearance
- follow directions and Pizza Inn Portion Control Chart
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- demonstrate guest-oriented focus
- demonstrate teamwork
- communicate to the various departments
- manage equipment effectively
- follow clean as you go policy
- keep work area organized and follow 7 steps of phone pro
- demonstrate a sense of urgency
- adhere to food quality standards including freshness temperature taste and appearance
- understand FIFO rotation
