  • Ability to read and understand recipes and POS tickets
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Willingness to work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role

Job Duties

  • Read and understand recipes and POS generated tickets
  • Cut foods as specified by recipe
  • Weigh, measure, and prepare foods according to recipe specifications using station checklists
  • Ensure allergen considerations and modify food for safe consumption
  • Prepare meats, vegetables, batters, sauces, and dressings according to recipes
  • Bake or cook food items based on guest orders and recipes
  • Clean and sanitize station throughout shifts
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Restock or breakdown station before next meal period
  • Communicate pertinent information to next shift line cooks
  • Report food and equipment shortages to supervisory staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Prepare and present menu items following standardized plating cards
  • Set up station per daily checklist and Chef's direction
  • Be dependable and adhere to scheduling and attendance policies
