Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong background in pizza preparation and oven operation
- Ability to work an event-driven schedule including nights and weekends
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Qualified food handling certification per SNHD
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role
- Proven skills in dough making, hand stretching, and topping preparation
- Knowledge of various pizza styles (e.g., Neapolitan, New York, Sicilian)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Possess valid SNHD food handling card
- Culinary training or certification preferred
- Experience with specialty diets (e.g., gluten-free, vegan options) preferred
- Passion for high-quality ingredients and customer service preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pizzas using both classic and creative recipes
- Make fresh dough, sauces, and toppings daily
- Operate wood-fired, brick, or conveyor ovens with precision
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation per SNHD guidelines
- Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality
- Monitor ingredient stock and assist with inventory and ordering
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to improve recipes and service
- Train and mentor junior staff as needed
