Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age
  • proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • must be able to obtain and maintain an Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card
  • must have Food Handlers Safety Training card and any other required certification or license
  • ability to hand toss a 21-inch New York style pizza
  • ability to roll and stretch dough
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds unassisted
  • able to physically access all property and drive areas with or without accommodation
  • able to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines
  • ability to interact effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts
  • able to work prolonged periods standing, walking, stretching, bending, and kneeling
  • able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment indoors exposed to noise, dust, and cigarette smoke

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in a high-volume pizzeria preferred
  • demonstrated experience in a 4- or 5-star resort or hotel preferred
  • ability to properly read order tickets on paper and KDX screens
  • working knowledge of basic kitchen equipment
  • flexibility to work all outlets within the food hall
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written
  • strong interpersonal skills to communicate with guests and team members of varied backgrounds and experience levels

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all specialty food in the pizza kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
  • maintain pizza display and ensure a visually appealing variety of pizza pies
  • maintain pizza refrigeration and dry storage areas with proper handling and rotation of products
  • inspect all refrigeration and dry storage for compliance
  • ensure pizza stations are clean and food properly covered and stored at shift end
  • follow all pizza recipes, specifications, and control procedures
  • ensure adherence to brand standards and licensing agreement requirements
  • maintain proper cooking temperatures for all products
  • practice FIFO (First In, First Out) by correctly labeling all products
  • ensure all guest orders are taken and rung up correctly
  • interact with guests in an upbeat and positive fashion
  • serve food and beverage items including alcoholic beverages
  • receive payment from guests
  • adhere to established cash control policies and procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the pizzeria including counters, cash register, and beverage area
  • comply with all safety regulations
  • ensure consistent and regular attendance
  • perform other related duties as assigned
