Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in culinary or food service preferred
  • ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts
  • availability to stand and walk the entire shift
  • capacity to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • adherence to uniform and hygiene standards
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
  • experience in food preparation preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • physical ability to stand and walk for 100 percent of the work period
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • willingness to follow company policies and food preparation procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items according to Parkhurst recipes
  • produce one or more specialty pizzas each service period
  • stretch dough and toss to attain round shape for pizza
  • ensure quality and quantity of food throughout service periods
  • interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner using Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
  • produce pizza dough daily
  • ensure proper line presentation and maintaining food products at proper serving temperatures
  • complete daily production sheets
  • store and date all food items properly
  • follow cleaning schedule using clean as you go techniques
  • maintain communication with management regarding products and supplies needed
  • follow uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
  • follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards
  • assist fellow team members
  • perform any other duties as assigned by management
