Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a pizza cook or related food preparation role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
- physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
- must be eligible to work according to local employment laws
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pizza cook, pizza maker, or similar role required
- skilled in pizza preparation
- validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- must be able to acquire food safety certification
- demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes specifically pizza
- sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- hand-tosses, stretches, or presses pizza dough to proper size and thickness
- operates and monitors pizza ovens ensuring correct temperature and consistent bake quality
- prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
