Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • pizza cook experience required
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday day shifts
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capable of following food safety regulations and company policies
  • must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • willingness to attend in-service and safety training
  • must maintain clean and safe work environment
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous pizza cooking experience required
  • knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and stores food and supplies according to standards
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • ensures a clean, safe work environment and performs job safely
  • follows HACCP standards for portion control, presentation, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • commits to personal and others' safety
  • abides by company policies including safe handling procedures for knives, hot pans, and use of slip-resistant shoes
  • performs other duties as assigned
