Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year culinary or kitchen experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds regularly

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year culinary or kitchen experience preferably making pizza
  • Ability to clearly communicate with team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare pizza dough using hand-stretch technique
  • Prepare sauces and various toppings including tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats
  • Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times
  • Prepare high-quality pizzas according to company recipes
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment before use
  • Assist in preparing and cooking other food items offered by the café
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed
  • Complete end-of-day inventory and other opening/closing procedures
  • Ensure proper food temperatures and storage
  • Follow knife safety procedures
  • Assist Culinary Team with received orders and storage
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
