Job Qualifications
- must be at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- previous experience preparing and cooking pizzas required
- knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
- ability to maintain composure in potentially stressful situations
- must have job-related tools
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand english
- bilingual (english/spanish) is a plus
- well-groomed appearance and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime
- ability to tolerate environments with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
Job Duties
- prepare a variety of specialty pizzas using recipes crafted by our sous chef and executive chef
- serve guests with fresh, flavorful slices and our house-made gelato from the counter
- ensure every dish meets our high standards for quality, portioning, and visual presentation
- follow ticket procedures-no plate leaves without one
- maintain a spotless, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout your shift
- sanitize and disinfect work areas, cutting boards, and prep tables to meet all health department and company standards
- properly wrap, label, date, and store ingredients in designated areas
- support food prep between the main kitchen line and pizza station, and assist the sushi chef when needed
- communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
- provide exceptional guest interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm
- perform other duties as needed to support the culinary team
