- In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
- Food handlers certification required

Job Duties
- Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and or as specified on guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Ensures compliance with all hotel policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage as well as local state and federal laws and regulations
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Check food plating temperature and portions for all cold and hot dishes
