Job Requirements

  • Pizza cook experience required
  • Ability to stretch dough by hand
  • Must maintain pizza bar
  • Must work Monday to Friday schedule with some weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must adhere to safety policies including use of cut-resistant gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Must be able to follow all health and food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience as a pizza cook
  • Ability to stretch pizza dough by hand and maintain a pizza bar
  • Knowledge of food safety practices including HACCP standards
  • Ability to work varied schedules including some weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and kitchen safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to follow recipes and production schedules
  • Commitment to workplace safety practices

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining proper food temperatures
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, ensuring high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Commits personally to safety and adheres to all company safety policies
