Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a pitmaster, meat cutter, line cook, expediter, prep cook, or fry/salad chef
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate smokers and other kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Understanding of inventory management and waste reduction

Job Duties

  • Execute pit and meat operations with high quality standards
  • Monitor and manage overall quality of smoked meats
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation practices
  • Use smokers proficiently and adhere to process and procedure
  • Manage inventory and control food waste in the pit and meat area
  • Ensure execution of brand excellence through consistent food quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management teams
